THE CONCEPT

Danskbureauet's courses are designed to meet the demands of both businesses and private individuals. We tailor our courses to meet not only your goals but also the way you learn best.

We design both individual and group courses with lesson material that will make your time with Danskbureauet "a sure winner". Our lesson material comprises: 

• Listening, speaking, reading and writing from the very first lesson.
  
• Clarification of Danish phonetics, with an emphasis on correct vocalisation and pronunciation of vowels and glottal stops. Mastery of this is quick and easy with Danskbureauet's innovative lesson structure - which means that one is quickly able to converse with and be understood by Danes!
  
  All course material is developed and used exclusively by Danskbureauet.

Speak the language

Every new word and phrase is presented and trained in dialogue form, ready to use in the world where people communicate orally. This does not mean that we underestimate the importance of writing. All four skills are trained: speaking, writing, listening and reading. Furthermore, this helps you increase your capacity of memorising the language.

A language is a habit

The structure of dialogues and phrases is taught and broadened through systematic training, which enables you to acquire automatisms, which will consequently not only help your ability to memorise what you have learned, but also permit you to combine words and expressions independently and correctly, in a creative manner.

Learn the language, not about the language

We do not, for instance, use superfluous time on giving you long grammatical explanations. If you find it interesting, you can all the while find relevant grammatical rules written in the material we provide you, so that you, when you read can adjoin your learning of the language with knowledge about it. Moreover, we are pleased and available to answer any question you might have.

All idioms are different, Danish is something in itself

We weigh very heavily the importance of your pronunciation becoming as good as possible, and we also seek to teach you to produce flawless sentences. That is why we provide CD's with recorded dialogue, so that you can practice and learn them by heart between each lesson.

100 percent Danish?

Yes, pretty much!

We use either your mother tongue or English to communicate in the beginning, however we try to favour the Danish language as much as possible, to keep it in focus.
